Pathos AI Inc. has successfully closed a Series E funding round, securing $237 million. This investment brings the company's total valuation to $3 billion. The round was led by Bristol Myers Squibb Co., with additional support from returning investors, including AstraZeneca plc, NEA, and General Atlantic.

The startup utilizes its proprietary Foundry AI platform to accelerate cancer drug development. The software processes approximately 200 petabytes of oncological data to identify promising drug candidates and select suitable patient groups for clinical trials. The platform also assists in designing biomarker-driven research programs.

The newly raised capital will primarily fund the JSKN016 program, which focuses on developing an antibody-drug conjugate for cancer treatment. Furthermore, the company will support three additional drug development initiatives, including a collaborative project with AstraZeneca centered on ER PROTAC technology.

As part of a broader strategic partnership, Pathos AI has entered into a five-year agreement with Tempus AI Inc. Under this deal, Pathos will pay $55 million to license anonymized patient data related to neurological conditions. This data, processed through Foundry, will also be shared with Bristol Myers Squibb to optimize their clinical trial processes.
