Daytona Platforms has secured $60 million in a Series B funding round, reaching a valuation of $1 billion. The round was led by FirstMark Growth, bringing the startup's total funding to $91 million.
The New York-based company, founded three years ago, specializes in cloud infrastructure designed for long-running AI agents. These agents require unique environments, such as sandboxed access to Linux, Windows, macOS, and GPUs, to handle thousands of short, stateful jobs.
The latest investment round attracted several high-profile angel investors, including Patrick Collison of Stripe, Tobi Lütke of Shopify, Aravind Srinivas of Perplexity, Eric Yuan of Zoom, Olivier Pomel of Datadog, Adam D’Angelo of Quora, and Brendan Foody of Mercor.
Corporate venture arms also participated in the financing. Daytona confirmed that Qualcomm Ventures, Samsung Next, and Okta Ventures contributed to the Series B round, following FirstMark's previous lead in the $24 million Series A round held in February.
