Pangram Labs has officially launched its Pangram Image 1.0 model, designed to identify AI-generated content. The system uses heatmaps to pinpoint areas within images created by artificial intelligence.

The company developed a test dataset consisting of 1200 images, derived from 100 original photos processed through 12 different AI generators. In these tests, the model achieved an accuracy rate of 99.96 percent.

The model maintains performance against image compression, scaling, and manual edits. At a resolution of 256x256 pixels, the detection accuracy is recorded at 96.4 percent.

Alongside the image tool, the lab introduced Pangram Image Flash 1.0 for video detection. This model reached 98.7 percent accuracy on the DF26 dataset, outperforming the next best result by 29 percentage points.
