Oracle announced an expansion of its multicloud AI database services for the US government on March 31, 2026. The company plans to deploy NVIDIA B300 GPUs, based on the Blackwell Ultra architecture, across its government cloud infrastructure.

The hardware will be available in OCI government regions, including US Gov East and US Gov West, as well as defense-focused regions: US DoD East, US DoD North, and US DoD West. These resources are intended to support training and inference workloads for large language models.

The company is introducing xAI’s Grok and NVIDIA’s Nemotron models for agency use, specifically targeting cybersecurity and situational awareness tasks. Additionally, Oracle launched the Defense Industrial Base Isolated Cloud Environment to provide secure, air-gapped collaboration spaces for contractors.

This expansion follows previous authorizations in February and March 2026, which integrated OCI Generative AI and other services into the government lineup. Oracle previously operated five US government regions, with existing FedRAMP and DISA approvals for OCI Generative AI and Exadata Cloud@Customer.
