Oracle EMEA Limited, an Irish entity managing operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, has joined the ongoing bankruptcy proceedings of the Russian subsidiary Oracle Computer Equipment. The involvement follows a legal challenge initiated by the bankruptcy trustee regarding a transaction dating back to 2014.

The trustee is seeking to invalidate a payment of approximately 352.4 ₽ million made from the Russian office to the Irish division under a distribution agreement. The objective of this legal action is to recover funds for the bankruptcy estate to facilitate payments to creditors.

Oracle EMEA Limited requested that the Moscow Arbitration Court dismiss the case, citing parallel proceedings in Lithuania. However, the court rejected these motions, noting that the debtor is a Russian legal entity with significant business ties to the country, and the dispute falls under Russian jurisdiction.

The court determined that the bankruptcy case and the specific transaction dispute are deeply connected to the Russian legal system. Consequently, the hearing to review the trustee's request to invalidate the transaction is scheduled for October 20, 2026.
