The updated platform includes interactive panels and file viewers tailored to specific developer products. To support these changes, OpenAI launched a Plugin Creator tool and a redesigned submission flow for the plugin directory, which now features improved ranking and recommendation algorithms.
ChatGPT Sites will now support these plugins, allowing users to share applications with colleagues while maintaining individual data permissions. Additionally, OpenAI added support for the MCP Events specification to enable event-based automations within connected applications.
