The upcoming OnePlus 16 flagship will feature a 9000 mAh battery, a significant increase from the 7300 mAh capacity found in the current OnePlus 15 model. The device is expected to support 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, marking a shift from the 120W wired charging speed of its predecessor.
The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor. Its display will support a refresh rate of up to 185 Hz. The camera system includes a 200 MP main sensor with a 1/1.4-inch optical format, a 50 MP periscope module with a 1/1.95-inch sensor, and a 50 MP ultra-wide camera.
According to information from Digital Chat Station, the device is scheduled for a market release in October. However, the insider notes that the OnePlus 16 may not be available for the global market, depending on the company's current strategic direction.
