The OnePlus 16 smartphone, identified by model number PYB110, has successfully completed the 3C certification process in China. This regulatory step confirms that the device supports wired charging at a power level of 100 W.
The device has also secured approvals from SRRC and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. These certifications verify support for 5G N79 connectivity within the 4800–4960 MHz frequency range, finalizing the requirements for a domestic market launch.
According to industry reports, the handset will feature a 9000 mAh battery. While this capacity is already present in the OnePlus Turbo 6 and OnePlus Nord 6 models, it represents a record for the company's flagship series.
The camera system includes a 200 MP primary sensor measuring 1/1.4 inches. It is complemented by a 50 MP ultra-wide lens and a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens with a 1/1.95-inch sensor.
OnePlus China President Li Jie confirmed that the device will debut with ColorOS 17 based on Android 17. The smartphone is set to support a 165 Hz refresh rate across applications, increasing to 185 Hz during gaming sessions.
