OnePlus has unveiled key specifications for its upcoming flagship, the OnePlus 16, ahead of the official launch scheduled for October 12, 2026. The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset and includes a dedicated gaming processor for optimized performance.
The smartphone features a 9000 mAh Glacier Battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging capabilities. It is equipped with a fourth-generation Oriental display using X4 luminescent material, developed in partnership with BOE, offering a 165 Hz refresh rate and protected by OPPO Crystal Shield Glass with 1.15 mm bezels.
The device provides IP69K-rated protection against dust and water. Connectivity features include triple-frequency GPS and quad-frequency BeiDou navigation, along with 5G n79 band support. Additional hardware includes stereo speakers, an advanced haptic motor, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, and an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor.
