The upcoming OnePlus 16 flagship is scheduled for release on October 12. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, which is manufactured using a 2nm process by TSMC and features the new Wind Rider gaming core. This hardware configuration has already set a performance record in the AnTuTu benchmark.
The smartphone introduces a specialized three-chip system designed for esports to improve touch responsiveness and network stability. OnePlus claims the device supports frame rates of up to 185 fps in select games. The display, an Oriental Screen of the fourth generation, offers a global refresh rate of 165 Hz across all applications, a feature the company states requires unique hardware support.
The camera setup includes a 200-megapixel sensor similar to the one found in the Oppo Find series, complemented by the LUMO light-condensing shooting system. The device is equipped with a 9000 mAh battery and runs on the ColorOS 17 operating system.
