OnePlus has officially opened pre-orders for its new flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 16, on the JD.com platform in China. While the final retail price remains undisclosed, early buyers are eligible for a two-year battery warranty, a one-year JD PLUS subscription, and a pair of Oppo Enco R5 headphones as part of the launch incentives.

The device features a space-themed design and is available in three color variants: Tomorrow's Starlight, Martian Masterpiece, and Dark Forest. The Tomorrow's Starlight model introduces a unique breathing light system on the rear panel. This lighting reacts to incoming calls, notifications, charging status, and gaming modes, offering four distinct visual effects.

The hardware is built with a metal frame and a balanced 50:50 weight distribution. The display supports a 165 Hz refresh rate, which can reach up to 185 Hz in specific optimized games. The smartphone is the first in the company's lineup to ship with the ColorOS 17 operating system.

According to industry reports, the OnePlus 16 is equipped with a 9000 mAh battery, managed by a dedicated Oppo power chip. The device has received 3C certification confirming support for 100 W wired fast charging. Leaks suggest the handset will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen6 processor and feature a 200-megapixel main camera sensor.
