iFlytek has launched the Qidian Co-branded Reader Pro, now available on JD.com. The device features a 7-inch Carta 1300 E-ink display with a resolution of 1680x1264 pixels and supports adjustable brightness and color temperature. It also utilizes the IFR 2.0 fast refresh algorithm.
The reader is powered by an octa-core processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It runs on an open Android operating system and includes a dedicated AI button to activate a large language model-based reading assistant. The hardware is housed in a chassis measuring 156.2x132.8x6.5mm and weighing approximately 200g.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. The device is equipped with dual speakers, a microphone, and supports TTS audio playback. It is powered by a 2630mAh battery that supports 10W wired charging. The package includes 8 classic web novels and a 2-month Qidian reading membership.
The official retail price is set at ¥1899, with a discounted price of ¥1719 available in certain regions following government subsidies.
