The Odyssey-3 foundation world model series, announced on October 8, aims to simulate physical dynamics and causal relationships. The lineup includes a standard version focused on balancing precision with costs, and a Pro version designed for enhanced predictive capabilities.

In the Physics-IQ Verified benchmark, developed by Anates Labs and DeepMind, the Odyssey-3 Pro model achieved a record-breaking score of 66.1 points. This test evaluates AI performance across fluid dynamics, optics, solid mechanics, magnetism, and thermodynamics.

The model utilizes an autoregressive diffusion transformer architecture to generate embodied environments. It allows users to navigate via first-person or third-person perspectives and perform independent camera movements while the system predicts environmental changes in real time.

Odyssey-3 also secured top rankings in the WorldMark evaluation across three categories. It scored 77.2 points in first-person stylized environments, 79.0 points in third-person realistic settings, and 76.3 points in third-person stylized environments.
