Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced plans to double the company's chip sales next year compared to the current period. This forecast follows a recent quarterly earnings report where the company projected a 70% increase in revenue, reaching $673 billion for the upcoming fiscal year, provided that supply chain constraints are mitigated.

The company's leadership attributes this growth to the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence across various industries and global economies. While Nvidia does not typically disclose exact unit sales, the company previously reported shipping 6 million Blackwell-generation chips over a four-quarter period. The product portfolio includes GPUs, CPUs, networking components, and specialized chips for automotive, robotics, and gaming consoles.

During his visit to Scotland to meet with King Charles III, Huang also addressed the development of artificial intelligence. He emphasized that the company prioritizes safety, stating that the release of any product must be delayed if it does not meet security standards. The executive discussed these safety protocols with representatives from Google DeepMind, OpenAI, and Anthropic.
