Nvidia is expanding its DGX Spark product line by introducing a 64GB version of the system, which is scheduled for release on October 23. The new model will feature a starting price of $4,999. This move comes as the market price for the original 128GB version has surged, with actual retail prices currently ranging between $7,000 and $9,000 due to rising memory costs.

The 64GB variant retains the core hardware specifications of the 128GB model, including the GB10 Grace Blackwell superchip, a 20-core Arm CPU, and a memory bandwidth of approximately 273GB/s. Both versions utilize a unified memory architecture and include the ConnectX-7 high-speed network controller, allowing users to cluster multiple units to scale computing and memory capacity.

To simplify the management of multi-device clusters, Nvidia has introduced the Sync Cluster Assistant tool, which automates device connections. Additionally, the new Model Launcher feature enables automated model downloads and integration with the OpenCode browser-based programming agent, streamlining workflows for local AI development and code generation.

Several OEM partners, including Acer, Asus, Dell, Gigabyte, HP, and MSI, are expected to launch their own 64GB GB10-based systems starting October 23 at the same $4,999 price point. This strategy allows Nvidia to maintain its software ecosystem reach while offering a more cost-effective entry point for users who do not require the full 128GB capacity.

The DGX Spark system is designed with a compact form factor measuring approximately 150x150x50 mm, weighing about 1.2 kg, and operating at a power consumption of 240W. It delivers up to 1 PFLOP of FP4 AI computing performance. Looking ahead, Nvidia plans to introduce the RTX Spark line for Windows PCs and creators, with market availability expected in October 2026.
