Nissan has unveiled the Pixo, an electric city car for the European market. The vehicle is built on Renault’s RG-EV platform and will be manufactured at the Renault plant in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in early 2027, with pricing and pre-order details expected from December.

The Pixo features a 60 kW electric motor and a 27.5 kWh LFP battery, marking the first time Nissan has used this battery type in its lineup. The car offers a range of up to 259 km and supports 50 kW DC fast charging, which takes 28 minutes to charge from 15 to 80 percent. It also includes an 11 kW AC onboard charger with bidirectional capabilities.

The vehicle measures 3,796 x 1,790 x 1,512 mm with a 2,492 mm wheelbase. It provides space for four adults and a boot capacity of up to 356 litres. The interior features a 7-inch driver display and a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen, with the Google ecosystem and Gemini AI assistant integrated as standard.

Development of the Pixo involved the Renault Group’s ACDC research center in Shanghai, with engineering support from partners including CATL and Shanghai e-drive. The model is part of a strategic partnership between Nissan and Renault, which currently hold 15 percent stakes in each other following a 2024 restructuring.
