Nissan is set to begin pre-sales for its new NX7 plug-in hybrid SUV in China next week. The vehicle is a five-seat model measuring 4,785 mm in length, 1,932 mm in width, and 1,665 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,815 mm.

The NX7 features a 1.5-liter engine paired with an electric motor that produces a peak output of 170 kW. It is equipped with a 40.9 kWh battery supplied by CATL, providing an electric-only range of 220 to 225 km. The SUV includes roof-mounted LiDAR to support urban navigate on autopilot.

Positioned below the existing NX8 SUV, the NX7 is expected to be priced lower than the current guidance range of ¥159,900 to ¥209,900. The company currently offers five new energy vehicle models in China and plans to introduce five additional models by summer 2027.

The automaker is leveraging its Chinese operations as a global export hub. Recent shipments include the N7 sedan and Frontier Pro pickup to Southeast Asia and Latin America. On November 6, these models officially launched in the Philippines as the Primera and Navara Pro.
