Ninjas in Pyjamas Group has completed the acquisition of its third batch of Bitcoin mining hardware. The company issued over 247 million Class A ordinary shares to finalize the deal. This expansion increases the firm's total mining capacity to approximately 13.85 EH/s.

The new hardware allows NIP Group to target a production rate of 195 Bitcoin per month, which is valued at approximately $2.8 million at current market prices. This represents an increase of 35 Bitcoin per month compared to the previous operational target set last year.

CEO Hicham Chahine stated that the company aims to achieve better margins and profitability. Following the announcement, NIP Group stock fell 40.7% to $4, reaching an all-time low. During the same period, the price of Bitcoin declined by 2% to $79,820.

The company is considering a future shift toward artificial intelligence and high-performance computing infrastructure. Chahine noted that the existing mining facilities could be repurposed for AI workloads if market economics prove more favorable than Bitcoin mining in the long term.
