NIP Group, the parent company of esports organization Ninjas in Pyjamas, has acquired a third batch of Bitcoin mining hardware. The company paid for the equipment by issuing over 247 million Class A ordinary shares, avoiding any cash expenditure or debt. The new machines are already operational at third-party hosting sites.
The latest acquisition adds 4.47 EH/s to the company's fleet, bringing its total installed capacity to approximately 13.85 EH/s. Based on this capacity, NIP Group projects a monthly production target of roughly 195 BTC. This projection remains subject to variables such as network difficulty and machine uptime.
NIP Group entered the mining sector in mid-2025. Its first tranche in September 2025 provided 3.11 EH/s, while the second increased capacity to 11.3 EH/s. Between September and November 2025, the initial fleet produced 151.4 BTC. The company currently holds over 200 BTC in its treasury.
CEO Hicham Chahine stated that the company may pivot its infrastructure toward AI and high-performance computing if those sectors offer better returns than Bitcoin mining. Any such transition would utilize existing data center and power capacity rather than repurposing specialized mining ASICs.
