Seattle-based Luxor Technology has secured $16 million in a strategic funding round led by CMT Digital. The company plans to allocate these funds toward expanding its artificial intelligence infrastructure, specifically targeting three core business areas.
The investment will support the development of Tenki Cloud, an agentic cloud platform designed for autonomous AI software. Additionally, the capital will scale Luxor’s AI hardware brokerage and its compute-derivatives desk, which facilitates financial contracts based on processing capacity.
The funding round included participation from Bitcoin mining hardware manufacturers Canaan and MicroBT, alongside Halo, Steelhead, and various angel investors. This move follows the September 24, 2026, launch of the Luxor AI business segment.
While expanding into high-performance computing, Luxor maintains its original operations. The company continues to operate a Bitcoin mining pool with a hashrate of approximately 43.7 EH and has historically traded over $1 billion in ASIC hardware.
