Nio has reached a total of 130 million cumulative battery swaps, achieving this milestone 88 days after hitting the 120 million mark. During this period, the company recorded an average of over 110,000 swaps per day, with a vehicle completing a swap every 0.77 seconds.
As of November 3, the company operates 4,236 battery swap stations across China, an increase of 230 units since August 7. The total infrastructure network includes 5,556 charging stations with 32,261 charging piles, serving Nio, Onvo, and Firefly vehicle brands.
The network now covers 84.5 percent of users within 3 kilometers of their home or workplace. The infrastructure includes 1,077 highway swap stations connecting 550 cities and 92 scenic routes, with plans to expand the latter to 100 locations by the end of 2026.
The fifth-generation swap stations, introduced in August, support different wheelbases, allowing all three brands to share facilities. Cumulative energy delivered through the swap network has reached 6.89 billion kWh, saving users an estimated 110 million hours compared to traditional charging.
