The next-generation BYD Han sedan has been spotted in China, featuring the signature Dragon Face design and a roof-mounted LiDAR unit. This model is expected to serve as the entry-level option within the Han lineup, positioned below the Han L and the flagship Da Han.

The vehicle is anticipated to launch with both EV and PHEV powertrain options, retailing at approximately ¥200 000, which is equivalent to $29 900. It will likely incorporate the second-generation Blade Battery and Flash Charging technology for both versions.

The sedan will feature the DiPilot 300 assisted driving system, supported by the roof-mounted LiDAR. Additionally, the car is expected to offer DiSus-C and DiSus-A active suspension systems, providing adjustable damping and air suspension capabilities.

Current market data shows that BYD delivered 2 997 units of the existing Han model in China during August 2026. The new iteration aims to refresh the lineup following a decline in sales that began after the phase-out of NEV subsidies in late 2025.
