A display manufacturer is currently developing a new screen featuring 2K resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. According to industry reports, this technology is expected to be ready for integration into mobile devices by 2027.
Current market trends show that most new smartphones utilize 1.5K resolution displays to balance visual performance with power consumption. While some flagship models have already adopted 2K resolution, the combination of 2K and 240Hz remains in the development phase.
In the tablet segment, Honor has announced the upcoming release of its WIN tablet, which will feature a 240Hz OLED display. This device will be equipped with the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition processor, a 10 000mAh battery, and an active cooling system.
