Nartis, a subsidiary of the NEC group, has begun deploying its functional units for ultra-fast charging stations for Mosgortrans. The contract involves the delivery of over 450 units of equipment to the Moscow transport operator.

The first ten units are currently operational at the Presnya site in Moscow. Engineers from Nartis and the NEC.Tech research center developed a solution featuring a reverse pantograph system, which connects the electric bus to the charging station automatically.

By placing the pantograph on the charging infrastructure side rather than on the vehicle itself, the project aims to reduce costs for the electric bus fleet. The system is designed to handle high loads typical of urban transport networks.

The functional units support power levels ranging from 300 to 400 kW, with the potential to scale up to 600 kW or more. The hardware is built with modular expansion capabilities to meet future infrastructure demands.
