Mural, a provider of financial infrastructure for fintechs and software platforms, has secured $15 million in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by Tether with participation from North Island Ventures, bringing the company's total funding to $28 million.
The platform offers a unified system for accounts, payments, identity, and compliance, allowing businesses to operate globally without managing individual banking relationships. Mural holds its own licenses and manages compliance in-house.
Since the launch of its API in January 2025, the company has processed $2.1 billion in payments across 128 countries. The transaction volume in 2026 is currently tracking at nearly six times the total recorded in 2025.
The company currently employs approximately 30 people and plans to increase its headcount by two to three times. Mural intends to hire staff across engineering, sales, and marketing, specifically targeting expansion in Mexico, Colombia, and Argentina.
