MTS has introduced the MFO-15, a rapidly deployable autonomous tower designed for remote areas lacking power grids. The 15-meter structure requires three people and a crane truck for assembly, which takes three hours. It features lithium batteries and a diesel generator, allowing for up to 12 days of operation on a single fuel refill.
The MFO-15 is intended for use along highways, at mining sites, near shift camps, and for private LTE/5G networks at industrial facilities. MTS aims to deploy these solutions in regions where standard base stations cannot be installed quickly, such as seasonal production sites or remote fishing areas.
Additionally, MTS plans to deliver 10 aeromobile communication complexes (AMKS) based on tethered hexacopters by early 2027. These systems provide LTE/5G coverage within a 10–15 km radius at altitudes of 100–200 meters. The mobile units are designed for emergency response, agricultural tasks, and large-scale events.
