MTS has introduced the MFO-15, a multifunctional support structure designed for rapid deployment of mobile base stations in areas lacking power grid access. The system relies on a diesel generator and lithium batteries to maintain operations. According to the operator, the entire structure can be assembled in approximately three hours using a crane truck.
The solution is primarily intended for remote and sparsely populated regions, including mining sites, industrial zones, and along transport routes. The company highlights the Far East, Siberia, and the Far North as priority deployment areas. The equipment is housed in a climate-controlled cabinet designed to withstand harsh weather conditions.
The MFO-15 supports multiple configurations, with structures reaching heights of up to 24 meters depending on wind load and site requirements. A single diesel fuel refill allows the base station to operate autonomously for 12 days. This approach aims to provide a faster alternative to constructing permanent infrastructure in challenging environments.
