MTS has introduced two paid subscription options for 5G network access. The 'UZE 5G' service costs 199 ₽ per month, while the 'UZE 5G+' plan is priced at 299 ₽ per month. To use these services, subscribers must have a compatible smartphone and be located within the 5G coverage area.
The basic 'UZE 5G' package offers 5G speeds up to 300 Mbps, along with 50 GB of mobile data and priority access to the LTE network during peak traffic. The 'UZE 5G+' option includes all these benefits plus unlimited mobile internet access. Support representatives confirmed that these options also provide higher priority within the 4G network.
MTS stated that the initial 5G launch conditions from September remain in effect, allowing compatible devices to access the network without additional fees. The company clarified that the new paid packages are designed to provide extra data and network priority rather than serving as the sole method for 5G connectivity.
