Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (MSUPE) has officially joined the University Consortium of Big Data Researchers. This organization currently unites approximately 90 higher education institutions across Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Armenia, focusing on artificial intelligence and data analytics.

MSUPE, which is a participant in the Priority 2030 project, intends to leverage the consortium's expertise to advance the digital transformation of psychological services. The university plans to use big data for the algorithmic development and validation of psychological support methods.

The university operates a unique MEG (magnetoencephalography) system for neurophysiological research in Russia. MSUPE aims to integrate this facility into the consortium's network of independent neuro-laboratories, which is being developed in partnership with the company Neurotrend.

Vyacheslav Goyko, CEO of the Big Data Consortium, stated that neuro-data represents the next stage in the evolution of big data analytics. The collaboration will focus on joint applied, scientific, and commercial projects at the intersection of neuroscience, artificial intelligence, and data analysis.
