Chery Group subsidiary Moga Robot held its global launch event in Wuhu, Anhui, on October 21. The company reported that its total global sales have surpassed 3,000 units, with products deployed across 100 application scenarios in more than 60 countries and regions.
The newly unveiled Moga Bao is the company's first consumer-grade humanoid companion robot. Standing 0.9 meters tall, the device features 22 degrees of freedom, allowing for walking and expressive body movements. Its design utilizes flexible materials and rounded curves.
The robot supports interaction in over 20 languages. It provides features such as object recognition, storytelling, and English language practice for children, while offering daily conversation and scheduled reminders for elderly users. It also includes facial recognition and long-term memory capabilities.
The system architecture integrates spatial perception, interaction, execution, and cognitive decision-making layers. MogaCloud facilitates task management and OTA updates, while data undergoes local desensitization and security verification before being used for cloud-based learning.
