ModbusToolkit is a free software suite featuring 19 tools designed for industrial automation diagnostics and testing. The application supports both Windows and Linux, with an interface available in English and Russian.
The toolkit includes a sniffer for monitoring traffic, a scanner for identifying network devices, and master/slave emulators. The emulators allow users to simulate hardware behavior using scripts written in the IEC 61131-3 Structured Text language.
Additional features include an HMI designer for creating process visualizations, a gateway for protocol translation, and diagnostic tools that measure response times and error rates. The software also integrates a local AI assistant powered by llama.cpp for code analysis and documentation support.
The project is maintained by a single developer and is currently at version 1.56.0. It is available for download at modbustoolkit.electroman.by, where users can also find documentation and a public test server at 45.8.248.56:502.
