MIPT and the company NM-Tech signed a cooperation agreement on September 30, 2026. The partnership aims to integrate academic research with industrial chip manufacturing within the framework of the World-Class Research Center for Advanced Microelectronics.

NM-Tech specializes in the full cycle of integrated circuit production, including design, serial manufacturing, and testing. The company currently utilizes technological standards of 250, 180, 130, and 90 nm for its microelectronic products.

The collaboration focuses on joint projects and participation in state programs designed to support university-industry cooperation. The parties plan to organize seminars, conferences, and working groups, as well as showcase demonstration samples at industry forums.

The initiative allows researchers from the Center for Advanced Microelectronics to test solutions directly in production environments. The work will involve developing technologies based on new functional materials, including one-dimensional and two-dimensional configurations for future electronic and photonic devices.
