Microsoft released several preview builds for Windows 11 on September 25, targeting participants of the Windows Insider program in the Beta and Experimental channels. The update includes four distinct versions: Beta 26H2 build 26220.9568, Experimental 26H2 build 26340.9577, Beta 26H1 build 28020.3112, and Experimental 26H1 build 28120.3122.
The Experimental channel received specific feature updates. The Phone companion tool within the Start menu has been improved to display more recent activity. It now features a scrollable side pane, allowing users to access information directly from the Start menu interface without navigating away.
Additionally, the update introduces Energy Recommendations to the Quick Settings menu. This feature is designed to help users identify and implement actions to reduce energy consumption, thereby improving the sustainability of their devices.
