Microsoft has expanded the rollout of the Windows 11 26H2 update, which was initially released in late September. The company confirmed that the update is now available for all eligible devices, including those running Windows 10 that are currently in the extended support phase.
The update process follows a phased deployment strategy to minimize potential system issues. Users who have not yet received the update automatically can manually trigger the installation using the eKB5121794 enablement package, which activates dormant features within Windows 11 25H2 and 24H2 builds.
For users planning a clean installation of the 26H2 version, Microsoft provides the KB5127648 ISO file through the Media Creation Tool. The enablement package is not compatible with older Windows versions and cannot be used for direct upgrades from Windows 10.
