Meta's new AI application, Muse, has surpassed the early mobile performance of ChatGPT in its first 12 days of availability. According to data from Appfigures, Muse recorded 2,8 million total global installs during this period.
When comparing iOS performance in the U.S. and Canada, Muse reached 1,8 million downloads, while ChatGPT recorded 1,3 million during its own initial 12-day window. Muse currently holds the top position on the U.S. App Store.
Daily active user metrics also favor the new app. In the U.S., Muse reached 642 000 daily active users, significantly higher than the 231 000 users ChatGPT reported at a similar stage. On iOS alone, Muse maintains 359 000 daily active users.
The integration strategy appears to be a factor in these results. Appfigures reports that over 95% of Muse users are also on Facebook, while 63% use Instagram. The app is designed to connect with both platforms and WhatsApp.
