Meta launched its new AI agent, Muse, on September 8. In its first week, the application recorded over 900,000 downloads, reaching the top of the iOS App Store and Google Play charts in the US. By the end of the second week, the number of installations reached between 2.5 and 2.8 million.
The launch triggered an 11% increase in Meta's stock price in a single day, marking the company's largest daily gain since April 2025. Analysts view this performance as validation of the $200 billion in cumulative AI investments reported by the company.
Muse is designed for autonomous task execution, such as sending emails, booking travel, and managing goals. It operates within the Muse Secure VM environment and integrates with WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Gmail, and Spotify. Security features include the Sentinel supervisor system and one-time payment cards.
The service offers a free tier alongside two subscription plans: Power at $20 per month and Maximum at $100 per month. The agent is built on the Muse Spark model family, developed by the company's research division, Superintelligence Labs.
