Meta Platforms is nearing a $2 trillion market valuation, with its current market cap estimated between $1.82 trillion and $1.90 trillion following a rally on September 21. The company's stock price rose by 10% to 12% intraday, driven by investor interest in its AI product pipeline.
Wells Fargo increased its price target for Meta shares from $640 to $796. This adjustment follows the launch of Muse, a personal AI agent released around September 8 that performs tasks such as email management and booking. Muse is available in both free and paid versions, marking a new monetization path for the company.
The company reported trailing twelve-month revenue of approximately $228 billion and a net income of around $68 billion. Meta's market capitalization has grown from $910 billion at the end of 2023 to its current levels in 2026.
Investors are monitoring the Meta Connect event, scheduled for September 23-24, for further product announcements. Reaching the $2 trillion milestone would place Meta alongside Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, and Alphabet, which have previously achieved similar valuations.
