Meta held its Connect conference from September 23 to 24, 2026, focusing on wearable AI hardware. The company plans to expand its eyewear lineup to over 100 distinct styles by the end of 2026 through partnerships with Ray-Ban and Oakley, including new Aviator and Zena frames.

The Muse personal AI agent, launched on September 8, 2026, will receive voice-activated interactions for smart glasses in the coming months. Additionally, Meta announced the Ray-Ban Meta audio glasses, which lack cameras and will launch on October 13, 2026, at a starting price of $349.

The hardware range includes the Meta Adventurer glasses at $249 and the Meta VR Glasses, priced at $1,299, scheduled for release in spring 2027. The company also plans to ship the Muse Charm, a standalone AI device, in December 2026 and previewed a lightweight VR glasses prototype.

New software features include shopping and task connectors that provide real-time product information and reviews based on visual input. These updates rely on improved object recognition and scene understanding capabilities integrated into the Muse platform.
