MegaFon has upgraded its network infrastructure in the Kolyvansky District of the Novosibirsk Region to improve mobile internet access for residents of local gardening associations. The company installed new base stations in the Vilana and Ezhevichka communities, which are designed to manage seasonal traffic surges effectively.
The network improvements extend to several neighboring areas, including the Aqua, Zarya, Seregino, Konstruktor 2, and Rybachy associations. According to Dmitry Olovyannikov, director of MegaFon in the Novosibirsk Region, the new equipment provides mobile internet speeds ranging from 89 to 96 Mbps, with peak performance reaching 96 Mbps.
The infrastructure deployment aims to support both seasonal residents and those living in these areas year-round. The company stated that the new base stations help distribute network load evenly, ensuring stable connectivity for remote work, video calls, and smart home systems regardless of the season.
