JPMorgan’s blockchain division, Kinexys, migrated its JPM Coin to the Ethereum mainnet on October 19, 2026. This move facilitates on-chain payments and peer-to-peer transfers within the Ethereum ecosystem.

JPM Coin now operates alongside JPMorgan’s tokenized money-market funds, which were introduced in December 2025 and May 2026. Kinexys has processed over $4 trillion in transactions to date.

As of October 2026, Kinexys maintains an average daily transaction volume of approximately $7 billion. Neither announcement triggered an immediate price reaction for ether.
