Anchorage Digital and Securitize have formed a partnership to enable direct minting and redemption of stablecoins for institutional investors. This collaboration allows Securitize to utilize Anchorage Digital Bank, a federally chartered institution, to process transactions without third-party intermediaries.
The agreement integrates stablecoin services into the existing settlement infrastructure for Securitize. The firm currently supports over $4 billion in tokenized assets, maintaining partnerships with major financial entities such as BlackRock, Apollo, BNY, Hamilton Lane, KKR, and VanEck.
Anchorage Digital Bank provides custody and settlement services for its stablecoin ecosystem, which includes USDtb and USA₮. According to a report from August 31, approximately 99% of the $530 million in reserves for the USDtb stablecoin were held in the BlackRock BUIDL fund.
Securitize, which trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker SECZ, continues to expand its tokenization business. In March, the company also announced a collaboration with the New York Stock Exchange to develop infrastructure for trading tokenized securities, including stocks and ETFs.
