Maextro has resumed promotional activities for its V800 model on social media. This update follows a month-long hiatus after reports regarding the vehicle's brake pedal bracket integrity surfaced in early October.
The controversy began on October 8, when a third-party test claimed the V800 brake pedal bracket fractured during emergency braking at 100 km/h. Maextro stated that its braking systems undergo development and validation processes exceeding national and industry standards.
Following an official investigation launched by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other government bodies, the company pledged full cooperation. Maextro previously confirmed that third-party testing showed no damage to the bracket even under a 3000N load.
The company had temporarily paused its official Weibo account updates on October 15. Operations resumed on October 26 with the promotion of the S800 model, before returning to the V800 marketing campaign today.
