Lenovo has officially joined the Terminal Fast Charging Industry Association (FCA). The company intends to participate in the development of the UFCS integrated fast charging standard, focusing on industry collaboration and technology implementation.

Lenovo's product portfolio includes gallium nitride chargers, fast charging cables, docking stations, and portable energy storage devices. The company provides integrated charging solutions for laptops, tablets, and smart peripherals.

The association aims to leverage Lenovo's expertise to integrate PC and peripheral sectors into the unified fast charging ecosystem. This initiative seeks to address cross-device compatibility issues and reduce electronic waste.

Lenovo will contribute to the iteration of the UFCS standard, compatibility testing, and the establishment of industry specifications. The collaboration also targets the expansion of fast charging into office equipment and portable storage.

The FCA currently consists of 83 member companies, including Huawei, OPPO, vivo, Honor, Meizu, Anker, and Ugreen. Lenovo's involvement is expected to support the international promotion of the UFCS standard.
