Konfident has released updated, certified versions of its Dallas Lock 8.0 information security system (edition K, version 14.7.7.959) and the Dallas Lock centralized management unit (version 6.0.468.1). Both products have successfully passed regulatory compliance testing.

The updated Dallas Lock 8.0 now includes a vulnerability analysis module based on FSTEC databases and a new threat detection and response tool. This tool supports scanning for indicators of compromise and attack, while enabling automated responses such as file deletion, script execution, and workstation shutdown.

The centralized management unit now supports the new NAC Dallas Lock network access control system. It allows administrators to manage trust zones and connection statuses centrally. Furthermore, the update enables data exchange between the management unit and the Dallas Lock WAF for certificate requests and session monitoring.

Management capabilities for the threat detection component have been expanded. Administrators can now remotely trigger response scripts, terminate malicious processes, and manage system data collection, including active processes and network connections. Additionally, the system now supports self-testing tasks for security functions.

Reporting features have been enhanced to include detailed hardware information, such as USB device VID and PID identifiers, as well as comprehensive lists of installed software drivers. The update also introduces new mechanisms for tracking module health and managing firewall filters for specific processes.
