The seven-seat Kia PV5 Passenger electric vehicle is now included in the UK government's Electric Car Grant program. This inclusion applies to all three available trim levels: Essential, Plus, and Elite.

The grant provides a discount of £1,500 at the point of purchase. Following this adjustment, the starting price for the entry-level Essential version of the model is now £35,495.

The vehicle features a 71.2 kWh battery and offers a range of up to 246 miles according to WLTP standards. These versions were not eligible for the incentive when they launched in June.

Kia is currently one of eleven brands in the UK offering fully electric vehicles that qualify for the maximum grant. The company's eligibility depends on meeting government criteria for emissions, sustainability, and warranty support.
