Kalshi has partnered with BitGo Holdings to allow eligible Kalshi Prime clients to use their crypto holdings as collateral for perpetual futures trading. Under this arrangement, assets are held in custody at BitGo Bank and Trust, while Kalshi Katalyst acts as the lender for the loans.

The program accepts Bitcoin, Ether, and stablecoins that comply with the GENIUS Act as collateral. These loans enable traders to maintain leveraged positions in perpetual futures, which are contracts without an expiration date, without needing to liquidate their existing crypto holdings.

This initiative follows Kalshi's regulatory approval from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission in May 2026 and the subsequent launch of its first Bitcoin perpetual contract in June 2026. The company is also expanding its reach through a new agreement that provides Webull customers access to its perpetual futures products.

The service targets crypto-native traders and large entities seeking capital efficiency. By utilizing a regulated custodian, the structure aims to satisfy institutional compliance requirements while allowing users to manage both their crypto assets and derivative positions simultaneously.
