JMC officially launched the mass delivery of its Yichi 05 Chocolate Edition on September 10. During the event, the company signed agreements with 10 partners and secured orders for 1,100 vehicles.
The vehicle features CATL's battery swapping technology and is equipped with a 25-series battery pack. Thanks to lightweight design and an active grille shutter system, the car achieves a range of 530 kilometers.
Safety features include a steel-aluminum cage body made of 71 percent high-strength steel, along with chassis protection and IP68-rated battery shielding. CATL has already established 36 battery swapping stations in Nanchang to support the model.
CATL plans to expand its network significantly, aiming for over 3,000 swap stations across 216 cities by the end of 2026. The company also intends to build 1,000 highway stations by 2027 and eventually reach a long-term goal of 30,000 locations.
