Starting October 28, JD.com's 1 Member Store is updating its membership benefits system. The previous coupon-based rebate model for orders over ¥200 is being replaced by a percentage-based cash rebate system. Premium cardholders will receive a 2% rebate, while standard cardholders get 1%, with monthly caps set at ¥500 and ¥200 respectively.

The transition rules depend on renewal timing and channels. Existing members who joined before October 28 and do not renew via the app retain their original benefits. Those renewing within 30 days of expiration can choose between old and new systems. New members or those renewing after a 30-day lapse must follow the new rules. Benefits for those renewing via JD PLUS depend on specific card terms.

Monthly exclusive benefits are also changing. Users can now choose between a ¥10 subsidy, two shipping vouchers worth ¥6 each, or other goods. While the first month has no requirements, subsequent claims require a cumulative spend of ¥19 per month. Additionally, the store is expanding health and lifestyle services, including online consultations and discounts on car maintenance and cleaning services.

The 1 Member Store, rebranded by JD in 2020, operates as a paid membership supermarket. It offers premium annual cards for ¥198 and standard annual cards for ¥99. The platform leverages JD's supply chain to provide half-day or next-day delivery in major cities. These adjustments follow a series of rule changes implemented by the retailer since 2026.
