Janus Henderson has launched JQQQ, a tokenized fund that tracks the Nasdaq-100 Index. The product utilizes Centrifuge technology and operates on the Stellar blockchain, marking a shift toward regulated onchain equity exposure.

The fund is currently restricted to non-US professional investors. Participation requires a minimum investment of $100 000. The launch follows a 2026 decision by Nasdaq to expand licensing opportunities for its benchmark indices.

Janus Henderson manages over $1 billion in existing tokenized assets, including strategies focused on Treasury bonds and collateralized loan obligations. The firm has also onboarded approximately 200 crypto wallets to its platform.

The initiative aims to combine traditional fund structures with blockchain efficiency. While the project highlights potential benefits like improved liquidity, the firm maintains a focus on institutional-grade regulatory compliance.
