James May has listed his 1974 Triumph Stag MkII for auction on the Collecting Cars platform. The vehicle, which features a Magenta exterior and black vinyl interior, was used by May during the filming of the final episode of The Grand Tour, titled One for the Road. Bidding for the roadster is scheduled to conclude on October 29.

The car is equipped with its original 3.0-liter V8 engine and a four-speed manual transmission. According to the listing, the vehicle underwent two restorations in its history, and one repaint was performed at Richard Hammond’s workshop, The Smallest Cog. The odometer currently displays 83,368 miles, though the seller does not guarantee the accuracy of this figure.

Following the conclusion of the show's production, the car was returned to its near-standard configuration. One modification remains: the speedometer is sourced from an earlier MkI model. The vehicle is fitted with 14-inch alloy wheels and Hankook Optimo tires. Documentation regarding the previous restorations was reportedly lost during the television production process.

The sale of this vehicle follows a similar move by Jeremy Clarkson, who recently listed three of his own cars from the series. May owned the Triumph Stag for approximately three years before deciding to sell it. The last recorded service for the car occurred in July 2025 at an indicated mileage of 83,100 miles.
